My Neverlands mosaic flash was named one of the top fifty Best British and Irish Flash Fiction (Biffy 50) 2018-19 by last year’s judges. I’m honoured to be selected as one of four judges (along with fellow flash writers, Emily Devane, Christopher Drew, and Karen Jones) for the Biffy 50 2019-2020.
My “season” started at the beginning of November and runs through to the end of January. I’m looking for fantastic flash pieces published online by British or Irish born or resident writers.
As part of its celebration of flash, Biffy also runs four micro competitions, the first of which closes this Wednesday. It’s judged by Emily Devane, the theme is “Fall” (seasonal, metaphorical, literal – all interpretations accepted). Entry is free and the winner is awarded £75. There’s still time to have a go.
